Emergency Dental Care
At Norman Pediatric Dentistry we are committed to serving your family's dental care needs whether it is a simple teeth cleaning or an emergency situation. Composite Fillings (white)
It is never fun to discover your child's teeth have been damaged by plaque that has begin to decay the enamel. However, it is not something we want you or your child to feel bad about. A very common and simple solution to this problem are composite fillings. The process is nearly painless. First we remove the decay, then the composite is layered in to fill the tooth. Next, we shape the tooth as close to it's original form as possible. The white filling is made to look as natural as your child's other teeth. Your child will have a beautiful smile in no time.
Tooth Extractions
There are several reasons a child may need a tooth removed. A digital x-ray may show that your child's teeth need to be removed due to over crowding. Maybe your child had an accident that damaged a tooth that is beyond repair. Other times a tooth may have too much decay and need to be extracted. Regardless of the reason we are committed to gentle and comforting dental care. In cases where it is needed we are able to offer nitrous oxide to calm nervous patients.
Infant Dental Care
You may wonder why an infant may need dental care. A recent press release from the American Dental Association (ADA) explains that early dental care is crucial to cavity prevention in kids long term.
